Details of Services for Easter Week:

Sunday 10th April – PALM SUNDAY:

• 9.20am – Meet at the Methodist Chapel to process through the village up to St Peter’s Church
• 9.30 am – Communion Service at St Peter’s Church
• 3.30pm – Service at the Methodist Chapel

Thursday 14th April – MAUNDY THURSDAY:

• 7.00pm – Communion Service at St Peter’s Church

Friday 15th April – GOOD FRIDAY:

• 2.00pm – Service at the Methodist Chapel

Sunday 17th April – EASTER DAY:

• 8.00am – Service for all ages on Smeardon Down – followed by breakfast!
• 9.30am – Communion Service at St Peter’s Church

Our Lent Course, based on the film ‘The King’s Speech’ will start on Wednesday 9th March,at 2.00 to 4.00pm in Peter Tavy Methodist Chapel.

It starts with a showing of the film.

Everyone is very welcome to join us.

 

Taking the film as a starting point, the course explores the ways in which fear holds us back and examines how we, like Bertie, can face and overcome our fears and begin to find our authentic voice.

The course continues on Wednesday afternoons throughout Lent.
